Bird Watching with TRGT

Join is on May 10, 2024 for a bird watching hike in the Tennessee River Gorge! Birding is an excellent way to enjoy the gorge by observing the diversity of birds for which our region is widely known. There are over 100 species we could potentially encounter while birding in the gorge!

Ages: 10 and up

Meeting Location: Suck Creek Boat Ramp (just upstream and across the street from the River Drifters Restaurant at 1925 Suck Creek Rd. Chattanooga, TN)


Participants will meet TRGT staff to ride our boat to a TRGT property for the hike


Please bring your own water, wear weather appropriate clothing (including warm clothes for the boat ride), and closed toed hiking boots or shoes. Also, we highly encourage you to bring a pair of binoculars if you have one!
